Board of Directors

The Board of Directors are essential to KPC, providing oversight and guidance to the organization.

We are always looking for new directors to join our board as the current board members’ terms revolve. This year, we will be electing three or more new directors at our Annual General Meeting in November 2025.

If you are interested, and especially if you have experience or expertise in fundraising, the law or civic politics, we want you! Please contact Dennis Silvestrone (dennis.silvestrone@gmail.com).

Members of the Board of Directors

  • Head or liaise with the KPC Committees listed below.
  • Meet approximately once per month with the board to review the progress of all committees.
  • Make decisions concerning allocation of funds, governance, current activities, and future plans of the Kelowna Paddle Centre.
  • Are elected at the Annual General Meeting for terms of one, two, or three years.
  • Director and officer insurance is part of our coverage through Canoe Kayak BC.

KPC Committees

We have multiple committees actively involved in running the centre, each with a specific focus. Committees meet as needed depending on their area of responsibility and calendar of activities.
