Anyone who have attended a summer camp at KPC can join the race with a $5 race fee.
Pre-registration is required to join the race. Please register and pay the race fee through the Momence page.
Race type:
- 3-lap race – choose how many laps to race
- can choose either paddle board or surfski
- equipment provided
Schedule:
10:00 am: check-in OPEN
11:00 am: preparing the boats
11:30 am: race meeting + warm-up
12:00 pm: race START
1:00 pm: AWARDS
Anyone who is interested can join with their small boats with a $30 race fee.
For KPC members who wants to race please book a boat for the race beforehand.
Race types:
- Short course: 8-10 km
- Long course: 16-20km

2:00 pm: race START (short & long course)
4:30 pm: AWARDS

Register as an individual with a $30 race fee.
Pre-registration is required to join the race. Please register and pay the race fee through the Momence page. Boats provided.
Race type:
- heat & final: 3-5 km
- *distance will be determined by the weather the day of
- *racers will register as individuals
- teams will be formed through random draw the day of
Schedule:
7:00 am: registration OPEN
8:00 am: race meeting
8:30 am: Heat 1 race START
9:00 am: Heat 2 race START
9:30 am: Final 1 START
10:00 am: Final 2 START
11:00 am: AWARDS
Race Course
- The race course will be announced at the Pre Race Meeting held 45 minutes before the start of each race.
- Wind and weather conditions will determine which route will be selected by the race committee.
- It will be the priority to select the course that has the best opportunity for Downwind conditions.
