Our annual “Light up the Lake” festival is back for 2025!
Join us at 6pm, Thursday September 25th for an evening paddle on the lake to send off the 2025 season. Sign up is posted in Amilia, follow this link here to register/RSVP.
A BBQ will follow the paddle. We will be providing the main items, but would love it if you would bring a salad or dessert.
Individual registration for this event is open. Both small boats and teams are encouraged! If you wish to participate as a team, please have someone reserve a boat. We will have the V12 available for folks who would like to participate but do not wish to paddle a small boat.
This will be a casual event/social paddle, rather than a full race event. However, a little competition is never a bad thing. We also encourage you to bring decorations, fairy lights, and glow sticks (along with something to power and adhere them) to decorate and light up your boats! We’ll have some extras if you forget, but would love to see you get creative!
If you would like to be a part of the event but paddling in the fading light isn’t your style, we would love to have some volunteers to help in the kitchen, with timing the event, and to have some extra hands and eyes to keep an eye on things and help bring the boats to shore when it’s dark. *As a note we only have a limited amount of large OC’s available, spots will fill up fast but all are welcome to come on other boats or join the BBQ.
