Get your kids out on the water this summer with our ‘Paddling Summer Camp’ and give them an unforgettable on and off water experience. Our experienced, friendly instructors provide a low 1:5 instructor to participant ratio, ensuring your child will benefit from this engaging and hands-on program. We focus on fun, fitness, and water safety, and offer a variety of on-water, dry-land and cooperative games. At the end of the week, campers will have the opportunity to show off their skills and participate in an exciting day of adventure & competition.
FUNdamentals Paddling Camp is a beginner level summer camp for children aged 6 to 8, that will allow them to get comfortable with paddling.
Our instructors will introduce your child to the basics of paddling, such as proper paddling technique, balance, water safety, rescue, and equipment care. In addition to paddling activities, campers will also participate in dry-land games and team building exercises.
Discover Paddling Camps is an exciting and educational camp designed to teach children aged 8 to 10 the basics of paddling. Instructors will introduce campers to different types of paddling, including surfski, kayaking, Outrigger canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding.
The focus of this camp is on fun, fitness, and water safety. Campers will build confidence, develop physical and mental strength, and build teamwork skills while having fun.
Adventure Paddling Camp is an introductory camp that teaches more intermediate skills for children aged 10 to 13, that will reintroduce the basics as well as teach more advanced paddling techniques. Campers will try more advanced boats and boards, and learn new tricks to maneuver their paddle craft with less effort. Participants will become more confident while paddling their independent boats and boards, as well as developing team skills to work with others in a boat and while on land.
This camp was previously our Leaders In Training program.
Expedition is an advanced and immersive camp for teens age 14 to 16 to build both their paddling and leadership skills.
Paddlers will improve their technique, speed, and endurance. They’ll also explore topics like mindset, mental performance, and goal setting. Leadership skills like role modelling, group management, care for equipment, and promoting safety will also be a focus for this camp.
Plan for all weather: Better to be over prepared than underprepared. We will head back out on the water after lunch and breaks so please pack multiple options of dry clothing.
Please list the adults who are authorized to drop off and pick up your child from camp. If an adult arrives to pick up a child that we do not know, they will be asked to show photo ID so we can match them to the names on your form before we release the child to them.
If you would like an adult who is not on your form to pick up your child, please send a signed note with your child or let us know in person when you drop your child off for the day. Please include which date(s) this person will be picking up your child.
If you would like your child to walk home by themselves, please send a signed note indicating they are allowed to walk home by themselves. Please specify if this is for certain days, or for the full duration of camp .
Parents will be required to complete a comprehensive Camper Info Form prior to the first day of camp.
